UM wins 2 silvers in Nat’l UniGames
DAVAO CITY — University of Mindanao harvested two sliver medals in athletics and taekwondo in the 2007 National University Games, Thursday, in Bacolod City.
Ernesto Alsa bagged a silver in the 400-meter dash while Ramy Viajar added another silver in taekwondo.
UM Sports Director Joaquin Sarabia said that their women’s basketball team also continued its winning run with a 72-62 victory over St.Louis University of Baguio City.
They will play College of St.Benilde on Friday at the start of the semifinal round.
Mo is based in Davao City.
